Strawberry & peach immune boosting smoothie
Peaches, strawberries and pineapple are all high in vitamin C to support a healthy immune system, Greek yoghurt is packed with good bacteria and keeps your gut healthy. This smoothie treat is sure to give your immunity a boost this summer with all the delicious seasonal flavours.
Tip: Make sure to choose organic, strained Greek yoghurt which is more sour than the creamy Greek-style version, but better for gut health.
STRAWBERRY & PEACH IMMUNE BOOSTING SMOOTHIE
Serves 2
1 cup frozen sliced peaches
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1/2 cup Greek yoghurt
330ml coconut water
1-2 teaspoons manuka honey
Topping: ground flaxseeds, grated unsweetened coconut (optional)
Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth, top with ground flaxseeds and coconut, and enjoy immediately.
